This morning, Tuesday, March 16th, we became aware that an employee had a positive test result for COVID-19. The employee was immediately sent home to begin treatment.
In addition to regularly testing our residents, we continue to test every staff member twice a week. We are pleased to report that there were no further in-house positive COVID test results and that our facility remains COVID free.
Because the rate of COVID-19 infections throughout the region remains high, Tulsa County remains at a level Red, or High Risk. Accordingly, our employees continue to wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment — this includes masks, gloves, as well as face shields and/or goggles.
Meanwhile, we welcome you to take advantage of window visits, video chats, and essential caregiver visits. All of these can be coordinated by contacting our Activities Director, Flo Laymon, at 918-438-2440.
